Braunzo's Songwriting Rig 2012
I think this is kind of a sub category to my main rig, but this is what I've been using at home to write as of late...
Guitars: Usually my Road Worn Tele, but have been using the Johnny Marr Jaguar as of late as well.
Amp: Fender Deluxe Reverb RI w/ Greenback Speaker and clipped bright cap.
Effects: Guitar > EB Volume Pedal > Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret > Pro Co Whiteface Rat > Boss DM-2 > EHX Memory Boy > CMATMODS Tremoglo
The DLS is pretty much on all the time just for a little hair, because Jesus even knows that the best cleans even have a little grit. The Memory Boy will probably go and the Tremoglo is just used for a boost as I have tremolo on my amp already and I needed a boost.
This is essentially what I'm inspired by when I right. There's nothing that is on there just for the hell of it, with the exception of the Memory Boy. I thought two delays would be cool, but I only use delay in one way, pretty much. I might find some kind of swirly effect or something, but for right now I just don't have the need.
I have riffs and songs... Now if I just had some musicians who shared the same interests and drive as me :-(
