ladies & gentlemen, finally I moved my lazy italian ass and I put on an online book of photos of me, my band, gear, etc... here are the albums!!!

- pedals

whole ensamble pretty small, I know...
pedalboard that's the pedalboard for a show I did march 27th. it's ever changing... I'm gonna update it soon!

- guitars

my babies...
fender stratocaster '62 reissue close-up
gibson les paul custom ('88) close up

- amp

marshall stack that crappy peavey cab was on loan...

are you satisfied?!?

if not, here's my girlfriend - simona - and a friend of mine - gabriele, here's my other girlfriend - that *****cat is so gelaous... - and amarelo! my, yellow fat portogues cat. oh well, photos of my band can be found here! I'm the fat bastard dude with the silly hat.

sorry for the blurry photos: some were meant, but most are the result of a new digital camara that my girlfriend is still trying to learn how to use it. I'm new to webshots, so tell me if the links works!

my LP is worning out so nicely... I like guitars with an healthy dose of "life" on them. BTw, my future incomes are going direct to pay the tech for a visit on my paulie. it really needs to see a luthier in the next future...

Wow, some lovely gear.

Love the LP and you got a great set of pedals too.

How do you like the micro amp?

I've always thought yours was one of the 'super geeks' rigs who's hasnt been up. Good stuff.

thanks! I like the guv'nor as a clean boost with a parametric eq. it's pretty damn versatile, but I don't like it as a main distortion.

for an idea, listen to gary moore "still got the blues": I know he's not in your usual playing list, but that record was done with a vintage LP, the guv'nor (with high gain, not only to overdrive) and a reissue marshall bluesbreaker combo.

AHAHAH!!! me too... what can I say? it's rather fanny and stupid show: you have to do this kind of things if you want to put up a nice entertaining show!

at least it's better than working at mcdonald, believe me.

well, in the loop of SLP it doesn't really work as volume boost, but that's because of the poweramp distortion you get from the head. so I stick it between the guitar and the amp.

I didn't reharse for that show too much, so now the micro amp is AFTER the TS-9, because it works very good as a solo boost in conjuction the the TS-9. it's just like those 2 function OD: fulltone fulldrive, zinky true grit and the likes...

I'd rather have a fulltone fat-boost instead of it, but that's my taste!

naaaa... I play rock/funk/blues/pop/whatever, those are just nice pedal in a normal/typical context of use. IMHO, a "super geek" rig is any's!!!

Cheers for the info.

No as a 'super geek' I meant that you've been here ages and got a huge post count and are one of the helpful entertaining regulars on the boards

Ignore me, just my crazy mind.

Any's is definetly a super geek rig though you're right.

update!

if anybody cares, there have been some changes here and there... so, now it goes like:

- the power supplies on the board are gone: to much hiss and noise.

- the AD-33 is gone (sigh!) in favour of a teese RMC1. the analog delay was awsome for slapback... but I use more the wah!

- the RMC1 is awsome!!! true bypass too...

- both the TS-9 and the microamp are gone, in favour of a fulltone fulldrive, powered at 12v. in comp-cut mode, it's an awsome boost!

- I'm still toying around with a RV-3 to substitute the DD-3, but it's gonna be tought to beat the oldest working digital delay in the business!

so, the signal goes: guitar > rotovibe > wah > od > flanger > TU-2 > CE-2 > DD-3.

the effect loop in the marshall is not used any more: too hassle for just a pedal, it sounds better without the loop engaged... the ol' way seems to be better!

I've never bothered too much about the bypass issue, but after I tried the FDII with my amp only, I found that I had to slim down the pedalboard, in order to prevent signal loss and such... the result: I'm so happy with my tone now, I like it much more than I used to.

photos ASAP!

the route 66 is still in my possession, but not in the pedalboard. I've no use for the compressor at the moment, but you can bet I'm not going to part with anytime soon!

in my future plannings, a good fender amp will enter my world: as soon as I'll have it, the VS pedal will be back on the track! anyway, I'm gonan give a try with the marshall again this afternoon!

from the collection, the AD-33 is gone (for the teese wah), the shredmaster is gone (for the FDII), the morley volume pedal is gone (for the boss RV-3).
