I haven't done this for a while and a lot has changed, so here goes...

For a pedal setup, I just got a new rig together and am real happy with it so far. There is still a bunch of stuff on shelves even though I sold off a fair bit over the last few months. Here's the stuff lying about, not in the current chain:

volume pedal (with TU-2 in tuner out)
SupaTrem -> Boss PN-2 ->RV-5 -> oldMaxon AD80 -> Moog MF-104
DL-4 (w/ a Moog expression pedal to fade loops in and out.. I almost exclusively use it for looping)

It sounds really amazing. All around, it has a really good feel to it as well. I wish I would have gotten a VI a long time ago. After having this one, I feel like I could have put one to good use a long time ago.

Wow, that's some amazing gear. I can't decide whether I like your gutiars or your pedalboard more. Old Jazzmasters -> Fuzz -> Delay = cool. Great collection.

Are you in a band/do you make any music? I'd like to hear this stuff put to use.

Wow... not exactly sure what it is, but I love your rig. 3 groups of questions...

1: What's the word on that Jazzblaster? Did you put those Wide Range humbuckers in yourself? Me likey regardless.

2: I take it you're using the 2x15 cab with the Vox? Just curious as to why... particular tonal reasons?

3: What kind of music do you play, and do you have anything on the net?

Edit: ****... I came up with another question. Do you ever play the Travis Bean through your Orange? I've always thought that would either be a great rythm sound, or it would sound like complete ass. Any say either way?

1. Nature. It was a project of a friend of my girlfriends from a senior art show from their last year of college. I built the Jazzblaster entirely from parts. The body is an older Japanese one and the enck started as an Allparts LRO. I cut the pickguard from scratch and simplified the wiring down to the 3 way toggle and a lone tone knob. It sounds amazing and a fair bit like the Bean.

2. No, I haven't even plugged the Vox in for the last few months. It is up there out of necessity.. I've run out of room to store all this stuff. I have been running the OD120 into that 2x15 cab.

3. Nothing up or completed as of right now. I have some basic recording gear, but I need to jump in and learn to use it well. As it is, it takes too much time for me and I end up avoiding it. I loop a lot and generally make really melodic stuff, though often dissonant and droning. Eerie sounds are some of my favorites that, so I tend in that direction. It's hard to pin down. I'll get something up at some point.

The Bean (and everything else) gets played through the Orange the majority of the time. I don't really know what you would consider a good rhythm tone though as I don't play anything that would require that. But does sound really good. To be honest, I haven't heard anything come out of the Orange that I didn't like.

Fuzz into reverb and then delay is a huge part of my sound. If I only had only three boxes, that's what I would choose.

I really like the Loop Junky. It isnt nearly as "lofi" as I thought it would be though. Maybe I am just used to other less than pristine sound quality stuff. It meshes real well with all my other boxes though. I have been making a primary loop with it, then playing something over top of that. While playing over top, I then loop both downstream with the DL-4. After the loop and "overdub" have been caught by the DL-4, I can then start over and make another loop with the Loop Junky. In a way it is kind of like being able to overdub with the Loop Junky.
