The Hindsight Rig

Kinda naming it after an indie-rock type song I wrote. It does that style perfectly.

Guitars
---------------------------
Cheap and crappy Epiphone Les Paul Standard (stock everything for now, but due to the fact that there's a split in the neck near the nut and the headstock's broken completely in half at one point, the neck will eventually be replaced, along with the absolute rubbish of electronics Epiphone put in it). Kinda want to swap the pickups out for some BKP Mules.
2011 Ibanez RG321MH with tung oil finish. Beautiful mahogany with charcoal chrome hardware. Still has stock INF 3&4 pickups in it, but I'm too satisfied with them to want to change them right now. This one tends to be my primary.

Gear!
---------------------------
ZOOM G9.2tt. Dead right now as a processor, and I won't be repairing it again. I currently use it as a MIDI controller for Guitar Rig 5.
Review of the G9 in my rig before the damage: I'm really pleased with this thing after a full year. The amp models are pretty awesome, and the tube circuitry makes the thing sound so much better than if it were on its own. I typically use a patch on it called "AmbiRock," a custom patch that uses a Fender Tweed Deluxe after a booster for a really vintage vibe. I use a combination of the Modulation Delay and Digital Delay modules to create a flanged delay that sounds really airy and huge when driving the Deluxe. I finish it off with some (i mean a lot) reverb to open up the sound and boost the low end and midrange with the BOOST knob at 12 o'clock. Sounds incredible running direct and driving the Peavey Classic 50.
1993 Peavey Classic 50 2x12 with EFX loop. Pretty rockin' amp for the price. It has a superb clean section and a really thick drive section, running on a trio of JJ ECC83S gold-pin 12AX7s. Output stage gives it a really nice vintage shine, using a quad of JJ EL84s. The presence knob can take you all the way from muffled to spongy to bright. Love it to death, especially since it sounds so good for being a Peavey. Still has the original Blue Marvels too! Surprised they sound that good. At first I thought I was playing greenbacks when I bought it (turned out to be the voicing of the output section I was hearing).

Signal Chain
---------------------------
Guitar > Guitar Rig 4 (via PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL)
1818VSL output > Peavey FX Return (power amp input)
Peavey speakers > Shure Beta 57A 1" from the cone edge

Reply if you have any questions about the rig.

Cheers!
