Wink How boring am I?

So here it is (again), my newly completed rig that I really just can't be bothered with putting anything else in... Everything new I get generally gets sold within a month or two anyway!

- Unknown model Teisco, circa 1960s

- Tanglewood ES-335 copy (AS-39F)

into
Boss TU2
Visual Sound Route 66
Big Muff NYC reissue

into
Fender Vibrolux 1963 Reissue + 1x12" Cab

Keyboard

-Roland HP 20 Electric Piano
- Sustain pedal

Through

*Fuzz Face Reissue
*Deluxe Memory Man

Into

*Fender Deluxe 90

Other Instruments

Carlo Giordano Electric Violin
JAGARD Lap Steel
Ozark Banjo
Liberty Mandolin

I seem kinda boring compared to everyone else's rig! I've gone through so many different pedals in the last year, I can't be arsed with them anymore... I just want to play, it's such a hassle to find new things to try all the time.

I'm getting older before my years!

I don't know man, being able to play all the instruments is much cooler IMO than having a crapload of pedals.

What types of music do you play?

well...on mandolin/banjo/violin, I play a lot of old folk music, a bit of bluegrass here and there... I like taking modern songs and playing them on the mandolin turning them into something new!

When it comes to guitar, I play whatever I feel like, I still play a lot of delta blues slide type stuff on the Tanglewood.. aside from that I play straight up rock, blues rock, melodic tunes, soft/dirty country... the list goes on!

As for the piano... I have a new rule of thumb -
- If I pick up the guitar and start to play a song, if I feel that it needs a chorus effect, I play it on the piano, using the echo+chorus of the memory man! I've been through several chorus pedals with guitar, and I just ended up cutting them out, so this new rule works out well.

No pics as of yet, every week I keep claiming that I'll get some ... and yet I never do!

If you're interested in a lap steel, I've been contemplating getting rid of mine, I don't use it enough really! If you have anything you'd want to trade I'm up for that as well, otherwise we can say...£55 delivered to you. Let me know!

Yeah of course! The only use I'd have for the tonebar was to whack people in the head with it ! It's about 5 times heavier than the lap steel itself!

Have you got anything for trades?

That's cool, just drop me a PM whenever you want.

On another note, I notice you also have a Fender Deluxe 90! Is it the DSP or non DSP version? What do you think of it?

I like it.

Though I would swap the Visual Sound Route 66 for a Jekyll&hyde.

Nah, I've no use for the gain at all, I hardly use the overdrive side of the Route 66 as it is, but it's nice to know it's there for when I DO need it, otherwise i just use the compressor...

I'm not a gain type person, I've tried so many different things for making the signal dirty...and I just don't like it, I prefer to hear the bright clean of the vibroverb!

I also have a Germania Treble booster and a Fuzz Face reissue, but they're not getting used whatsoever...

Matthew17, didn't you got an Orange amp a few months ago? Did you ditch it already, or am I mistaking you for someone else?
