What kind of music do you play?
Just about anything. I have a vast repertoire of metal licks that I've either written myself or just memorized from tabs, but I can also play quite a few Rolling Stones riffs. Generally, I'm in drop D for just about everything, though, so I kind of bastardize a lot of original tunes that way.

And as to the P90, it will be replaced with an SD Hot P90 soon enough.

Then swab the inside of the pedal send it to the lab for testing in a week or two they'll be able to tell you.

If you find a tab of acid in there take it.
The further back you trip the older it is. If its a bad trip then you know its from the 80's.

I do like those Les Paul BFG's, thinkin I see one of them in my future.
I kick myself daily still for a passed up pawnshop find here about a year ago.... Xenia Ohio, crappy little nasty pawn shop, Heartfield Talon III, near mint condition, 100% original (with the exception of strings im sure) with original hardshell case (in 7/10 condition), he was asking $200 and I walked out the door because he only dropped to $160 out the door, when I offered him $125 .... (in my defense, it was so far out of adjustment it was hard to see if it was a solid instrument that would come back from near death) ... oh well, live and learn ....
How you liking that Orange setup? I did like the tone I got from one of those when I tried them out.....

The Tiny Terror is one hell of an amp, the only one I will need for a while now, in fact. It has some sort of inexplicable "fun" sound to it, and other than that, it sounds just plain awesome. It loves all types of pickups and pretty much any pedal you throw at it; I haven't had any issues yet.

One word of warning: do not switch it from 7 to 15 watt mode quickly, and vice versa, as it will kill the amp. I blew one up like that, luckily it was under warranty.

On the whole, I'd give it a 9/10. The last point would've been if it had two channels and more knobs, but the simplicity does kind of make the amp.

Matter of opinion. I'd play a silverburst RD.

Your silverburst Paul is just beautiful... Although I´m such a snob that I´d put covers on the p´ups... (never liked open coil buckers on Pauls except Zebras on ****ed up Honeybursts).

I tried a nice Les Paul copy when I ****ed around with many guitars two weeks ago in my favourite store - a quite cheap one - never recognised those guitars before - the Vintage Icon 100 Lemon Drop (a "Peter Green/Gary Moore" lemonburst knockoff) - ran it into a TT - hell, NICE... but as you know I´m GASing for another baby more... - and what´s responsible for that? Those Orange amps... because every time we plug a guitar into an Orange and it sounds GOOD - GAS...

Cheers, Dominik

I ran a Vintage VS100 tabacco burst ones into an Orange Rocker 30 combo. Hot god damn, that was nice. I bet a little pickup upgrade would be even snazzier, but it was quite a nice set up.

I did like the p´ups, especially the neck p´up (was FAR away from being muddy, sounded very warm and snappy), but that´s probably due to the special out of phase configuration (in the middle position) that Peter Green´s Paul was so famous for... so this guitar has a very special sound. And due to that configuration both p´ups are the same, so the bridge one isn´t really hotter (interestingly enough that wasn´t a problem for me, but I guess my ´72 RI Teles have the same "problem", so I´m used to that)... It felt REALLY good and was quality wise on par with Hagström and better than some Epis...

I told the guys in the stores that the guitar I played was an Epi killer. The guy responded by pulling out one of the lemon drop ones that he had bought for himself.

I really liked the pickups in the standard ones, as well. The bridge was definitely hotter and both pickups felt very Gibson-esque.

That said, I tried an ESP LTD EC-400VF, the one with the Duncans in it, and I preferred the Vintage. Call me weird, but that impressed me.

Yeah, that´s impressing - a friend of mine has an ESP LTD Kelly Hayes signature and it´s a really well made good quality guitar, that costed twice as much as the Lemon Drop... I´d prefer the Lemon Drop, too

very nice stuff. I'm especially impressed by the MXR D+ you have. not too many script D+ on here. I have an older block logo with an LED in it. Pots dated to late 1981 so its probably a 1982. I'd love to hear what yours sounds like in comparison.

I haven't played through a newer D+, so I couldn't tell you. I like the kind of gnarly boost it gives my Orange.

If I wasn't a poor college student, hen yes, I would do that. Sadly, I have no money for new toys. Bleh.

That said, I did update a couple things.
