My Rig, reborn like a Phoenix.

Guitars:
Schecter C-1 Blackjack, Fender Lite Ash Strat, Alvarez AJ60SC acoustic.

Basses: Fender Mexican Jazz(EMG P/J set), Warwick Corvette 4(Fretless)

Into:
EHX Mini Q-tron, Morley Bad Horsie 2, Digitech Bad Monkey, EHX Big Muff(Sovtek), EHX Small Stone(Sovtek/Loop), Line 6 Echo Park(Loop)

Amp: Mesa/Boogie Stiletto Deuce/Avatar G212H(V30s)
Recording: PODxt, Apple Powerbook

Geeked Rig.

I play jazz, hard rock and funk interspersed with weird noises in bands, and like overusing delay when I'm by myself.

There are a few clips of my playing on the link in my sig, but none with the Stiletto, yet.

Comments or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Not even SGRocker had something to say. That's cold.

Edit: Typo removed, OCD indulged.

hahahahha......he must be taking a pee break or sleeping for the 20 minutes he spends away from his computer screen each day.

As for your rig:

I think it looks pretty versatile.

How do you like your C-1 Blackjack?

The Blackjack is a great guitar, but it's been taking a back seat to the strat ever sicne I picked it up. It has a great rock/metal sound and feel, and a thicker neck than most double cutaway guitars aimed at metal players(Which I like). It's very versatile, but I'm thinking of putting something brighter in the neck, the switch from the JB to the '59 is a huge difference in tone, and the middle position is pretty worthless. The coil taps sound good, though.

The Q-tron is tons of fun. It's really squishy at extreme settings, and it sounds great for funk on guitar and bass. The synthy sounds are neat, especially with delay. In one of the clips on my myspace, I use it and the Echo Park, and it sounds like a pan pipe at some points. I'm not sure if I want to use it as more of a toy or leave it on my board, I guess it'll depend on what kind of band I join or start in school.

The Stiletto is definately a great amp. I've always liked the features available on the rectifier series, but had trouble finding a tone that fit me. The Stiletto has the features and build quality of a recto, with the british sound and response that I love. My favourite sound is on the clean channel, crunch mode, master volume at about 3/4 up and pre gain at about 1/3, EQd to sound like a bright channel plexi, on the neck/mid combo of my strat. The dynamics are so sensitive to touch and the volume knob, it's really just beautiful. I bought it because of how the gainier channels impressed me, but I really think the cleans are the best part. It is kind of difficult to dial in, though. Lots of very interactive knobs.

I'd be greatly indebted(in a noncomittal sort of way) if someone geekd my rig. School's monopolizing my time, at the moment.

I got a PODxt and put a new clip on my myspace. Possibly the first time I've done something other than drink on weekend evening.

I'm still happy with my tone in general, but I want to make some new sounds. I'm hoping to have some free time to go shopping over the thanksgiving holiday, and I'm open to suggestions of pedals to track down and play. I'm not necessarily looking for the craziest effects around, so much as pedals that would blend well with my rig and sound(metal with a bit of funk/fusion vibe and some delay based ambience mixed in).
