The MXR is extremely sensative to the input level. It has the fastest attack of any I have either played or heard. You have to be careful or it creates sharp shoulders which are actually painful to listen to (on any amp). The up side is that if your playing a fast fussion riff it really picks up on the nuances of your playing especially microtonal bends and level of attack.

Many people have asked me to sell them this pedal. One day I'll trace the circuit. I have heard that MXR still exist and sell them but I haven't seen one since 1981.

I only use it twice in my set. Once on Mark Armond's 'City Blues' And on the Gsus2, Fsus2 part of the intro of 'Little Wing'.

Thanks for your comments.

I am a fanatic for vintage MXR and have been wanting the MXR Envelope for quite some time. You can see my gear in my link below and see my vintage MXR collection. I bought a Menatone Mail Bomb to replace my awful EH Dr. Q envelope. I should have just gotten the MXR.
I did notice your proclavity for MXR pedals. So, I'm not selling you mine(which has had an external power mod), what do I get for tracing the circuit .

Thank you,

It actually works as intended around 20% of the time .

I just had all the build faults sorted then it got dropped and it hasn't worked properly since. I'm using a Valve Junior at the moment as a substitute (Mine sounds much nicer though).
