new parker guitars...and other gas

http://samash.com/catalog/showitem.a...onetodaythanks

ahhh man im gassing for this bad. ive been gassing for a lot though. im just not sure what to get.

should i get:

1. that parker telecaster type of guitar with piezo!! 600 bucks
2. my local guitar store is selling an older ampeg VT-60 with mesa pre and post amp tubes in it! for like 300 bucks
3. fender tele...nashville tele or lite ash or anything close to that price range.
4. fender jaguar--a local store is selling a jaguar mij for like 400 something. eh i heard bad things about the bridges i dont really want to deal with that crap of replacing *****.

anyone have any info on these parkers? i might get a H-H config guitar but i dont know. good thing about getting one new at samash is i can return it if i dont like it then get a tele.
and yeah i tried out the ampeg and its badass!! the dirty channel with the mesas are so nice! and yeah i tried it and im really digging it but i kinda want a new guitar. maybe i should just buy both?

then i have to buy a new verb pedal.
holy grail and digiverb most likely

yeah i really wanted a parker for so long but this is perfect because ive been gassing for a tele as well. so maybe this will be my perfect match. i'm thinking about getting one. that piezo is perfect as well! seeing how i always wanted acoustic abilities right at my fingertips. and yeah the metallic grey is cool too. too bad i dont have alot of money to blow it on a fly. ahh maybe someday.

hmm you mean like someone who plays them while running around and being stupid?

elaborate, please. i dont get what you mean. because im thinking that they did some engineering enough to not make them snap just from the tension of the strings.

yeah it looks like if it were to hit anything like a wall or a person it would break off. I've only seen one used like and it was one of those thrash around type emocore bands.

parkers are good guitars, but my experience with their lower models havn't always been positive.. i'd say it was just ****ty setup, but i've heard a lot of bad things from various sources. i don't know.

and these things' necks and headstocks are pretty damned strong, so the headstock might be small... but it's not going anywhere a les paul's headstock'll bust off long before a parker's will.

ahh well that explains everything! im just gonna be using this in my house. just for jamming...

i think im going to be buying that parker tele
and that ampeg vt-60 with the mesa tubes.

it should be running me around 300 for the combo amp. and 600 for the guitar. thats not too bad. a tele parker and older ampeg vt combo for under 1000? what do you guys think?

anyone ever play or hear a VT-60?

Doesn't Parker use carbon fiber or some other material to reinforce their headstocks/necks?

They look very strange to me. They remind me of pumpkins, in a weird way.

That Tele-style one looks way cool.

they must be pretty solid other wise they wouldn't sell but its just a lot thinner than most headstocks I'm used to. It probably has a metal bar in it too.

I really dig that P-36. If I were going to buy a guitar, it'd be that one.

+1 !!! dude you nailed it! its just really odd. its not natural really. they are too oblong looking. like they have the shape just really out of whack but i guess thats just because they are parkers but hell i dont know if they should even attempt to make singles if they are that fugly. i mean the price is nice though! for quilt tops and coil taps.

but yeah that p36 is going to be my next guitar no doubt about it. i ruled out the jaguar and im just going to make a prs and tele hollow body made out of metal. the tele will come first...so that will take care of the tele.

but im going to put hot rails or a JB in the bridge so i have a wide range of sounds. i want this to be harsh but then on cleans(neck) im hoping it would sound hella smooth and very round. i think ill order it now. ill give a full review when i get it.
