Thanks for the compliments! In regards to what kind of music I play, I mess around with a little bit of everything but my favorite bands are the Smashing Pumpkins, Tortoise, and Eluvium so I suppose most of what I play falls between them.

BTW, I also love surf music.

great stuff man. trade you my murf for your space echo?

haha.

too bad you don't live closer to FL. we could do an ambient, monstrously LOUD, post-rock, surf extravaganza.

i also must mention, the reverb on ampeg v4's is nothing short of fantastic. i prefer it to every onboard fender verb i've heard.

that said, using a 63 reverb in conjunction with the v4 is amazing. what i'd like to do is send my pedalboard into an a/b box. a output into reverb unit, into amp input 1. b output into amp input 2.

mainly because there is a slight volume drop when running the reverb unit, so you can use the independent volume controls to compensate. i keep the v4 verb set to slightly wet, and the fender unit for surfy madness.

I must say, you're RE-201 is in really nice condition, at least from the looks of your front panel. Very clean! I hope I can get my RE-150 lookin' snazzy soon.

Thanks, the front panel is pretty clean. There are a few real small rips in the tolex but other than that it's in very good shape cosmetically. The only bad thing is that the reverb on it doesn't work but that's not too big of a deal since all my amps have decent on board reverb.

I think I'll get some pics up soon.
