Man, that Morley is huge. I bet it sounds good, though, especially if you said it doesn't suck tone and doesn't hiss. Any idea what kind of contour it has? Just curious.

Any updates on replacing on the LS for a looper-type thing? I know www.loooper.com is out of business due to health. Just wondering if anyone else is building anything. I don't have the number of pedals to justify building my own with true bypass & more than 4 loops and mix/level controls for all of them.. I think I'll stick to BYOC and the like for now

Hope the new year is treating you well,
- Mathias

Hey since you're back around on the site, you should totally update your rig thread.

Totally updated.

I still need to get some picks of my Epi Dot and my "away rig" but it's mostly updated.

Awesome dude! I dig the CE-1. Your pedalboard is very cool. Since I know you love Rush, I'll add I saw them once; they were totally AWESOME!!! I've heard of those Marshall's you use but I don't know much about them. COuld you shed some light on them for me. Thanks.

They're awesome ;-) Rare, but awesome. I have one myself... They're near capable of doing Fender cleans and can branch out and do JMP overdrive. Very powerful and LOUD amplifier. SRV and Lifson are the ones in particular that are known for using them.

I'm getting ready to go pick mine up from the shop right now. Had to get a retube/rebias.

Good to hear you're getting your amp back. It's been in the shop for a while huh?

Braunz0 pretty much hit it right on the head. These are very clean and loud, midrange voiced amps that go from great cleans (the reverb is excellent) to that JMP growl. The midrange growl starts to really shine at around 5 or 6 on the master volume. I like the "less preamp than power amp" tones but setting the amp up in the opposite manner will obviously give you more distortion.

The best thing about the amps to me is that they take pedals very well. The amp has such a great, basic tone all on it's own but it just loves pedals. From overdrive to chorus, I've had great results.

I send my stuff to a guy who has had multiple write ups in engineering magazines and all that stuff. He's about an hour away and he gives me a deal if I'm patient as he has a lot of emergency calls. He's a good guy and very reasonable. Well worth the wait. Still have to plug it in and hear how it sounds. Allegedly the tubes that were in it were FAR from a matched quad Very anxious to plug it in.

I can honestly say that I am extremely happy with this rig.

The only change I am even considering is relacing the Sniper EQ with another Sniper modded EQ, the Sniper PQ-4 (hang in there motorhead. I want it for sure).
Hey, I just found the above by acident from a Google search. I must have missed it when you first posted it.

Anyway, when ever you want it it's yours. It works so well with my Fender Deluxe Reverb that it's worth keeping. However the DRRI has been on its way out for a little while. That Mesa itch gets pretty nasty sometime
