What are your strengths and weaknesses as a musician?

Lets hear it. What do you consider your best/worst points as a guitarist/songwriter?

I find it really hard to follow on songs. I write pretty good intros and then get completely lost

Singing and playing at the same time. Damn that is far to difficult. I dont know how some people do it so easily.

Practice, pure and simple.

As for me....

Strengths:

when im creative, I think I write some good songs and lyrics and people have told me they are pretty good
can sing and play
feeling and soul into my music
working in a band together to create something that sounds good by working in effects, different styles etc

Weaknesses:

long dry spells with no creative spark
soloing
theory
jamming (playing things in front of/with people when I have nothing prepared, I just freeze up)
writing parts of songs and not being able to link them together into well constructed songs

Strengths

My timing is good
I can "feel" solos...but they are based around 1 or 2 scales only
I find riff writing really easy
Jamming

Weaknesses

Theory
Dedication to real practise, not just jamming
Lyrics
Writing basslines that do more than play root notes

- sense of melody.
- being able to hear where to put parts
- creativity
- lyrics
- Multi-instrumentalist

Weakness:
- Voice, not as good as I wish it was.
- Have a hard time writing anything that isn't a ballad
- over doing things, I always want a song to be big and can forget that not all songs should be big.

- difficulties with non standard rythems

Strengths:

"Good" lyricist. (I know this is subjective, but... Christ, you should see some of the stuff other bandmembers have come up with over the years... )
I can write in nonstandard time signatures. In fact, I use 4/4 only about 30% of the time.
I tend to write complimentary parts for all instruments, not just the instrument I happen to play in which ever band that I am in. No one instrument really sticks out.
Good rhythm, good sense of time. Not great, but I can easily hang with most people I've played with. I'm working on improvement, however.

Weaknesses:
I can't sight read. It takes me a long time to read music. I can do it, I just have to squint and mutter a lot.
I can't sing and play, and my voice isn't that great. I have a hard time judging vocal pitch while I sing. This is also something I'm working on.
I need to study my scales and modes a bit more. I'm not as fluent in them as I'd like to be.

Strengths:

Improvising/jamming - I can pull stuff off the top of my head pretty easily
Singing - I have a decent voice, and can sing and play at the same time with relative ease
Recording - I have an ear for production

Weaknesses:

Reading - I read pretty badly for someone at my level
Writing Choruses - I really am a verse writer, the hooky chorus is not my forte

Strengths:

Soloing's pretty good. Relaxing and just jamming. Working with fellow musicians. Theory. Learning quickly. Making people have fun.

Weaknesses:

Singing. Writing anything particularly original. "This might sound weird, but getting into the music by moving - what i mean is a lot of guitarists really move and get into it when they solo; while I solo just as i do anything. I feel it, but i don't really show that i feel it."

Oh, and another weakness for me: my ear. I love music, but I have a hard time like figuring out what someone is playing by ear, or knowing what key they're in.
