Dod has cranked out a ton of choruses over the years and sometimes it's impossible to keep tabs on all of them. Just so you know, this little 3 knobbed wonder from the 80s is a good one to keep an eye out for in your pawnshop travels. It's a smooth well-voiced chorus that didn't really suffer from that sterile shimmer that most 80s chorus pedals had. It's not over the top in modulation control either and should suit subtle players just fine. The three knobs have nice ranges that can give you a nice doubling or a pseudo-leslie vibe. If possible test the unit before buying as the early FX series switches tended to be a little flakey. These have always maintained a decent street price so picking one up for cheap is a common place in music shops or Ebay. |
